Six weeks go by quickly: Over the past few weeks, Kelley Zhang and Karma Pham have been a valuable addition to our team in Berlin, contributing to the further development of our groundwater monitoring platform, ENOLA. Now, as their internship comes to an end, it’s time to say thank you!

Two Projects, One Goal

Kelley Zhang from the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science developed a Python client for the ENOLA API. This makes programmatic access to our platform significantly easier—a key component that greatly simplifies data analysis and automation for our users.

Karma Pham from the UCI Samueli School of Engineering worked on the automated evaluation of OCR models for extracting groundwater data from PDF files. This is a topic of great practical importance to us, as a significant amount of hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical data is still only available in PDF format.
