💧 “Innovations for a water-resilient region” – we are contributing to the On Water Dialogue at the GFZ Potsdam!

“How can the Berlin-Brandenburg region become more water-resilient? Between drought and heavy rainfall, rising water demand, and vulnerable ecosystems, new strategies are needed for supply, protection, and sustainable water management. How can research and practice jointly develop perspectives that not only use regional water resources efficiently but also make them resilient in the long term?
On November 3, 2025, we will explore these questions as part of the On Water Dialogues at the Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam. Under the title ‘Innovations for a water-resilient region,’ experts from science and practice in Berlin and Brandenburg will discuss new perspectives and resilience strategies for water supply and dealing with extreme weather events at the historic science campus on Telegrafenberg.”
