Six weeks go by quickly: Over the past few weeks, Kelley Zhang and Karma Pham have been a valuable addition to our team in Berlin, contributing to the further development of our groundwater monitoring platform, ENOLA. Now, as their internship comes to an end, it\u2019s time to say thank you!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Kelley Zhang<\/strong> from the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science developed a Python client for the ENOLA API. This makes programmatic access to our platform significantly easier\u2014a key component that greatly simplifies data analysis and automation for our users.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Karma Pham<\/strong> from the UCI Samueli School of Engineering worked on the automated evaluation of OCR models for extracting groundwater data from PDF files. This is a topic of great practical importance to us, as a significant amount of hydrogeological and hydrogeochemical data is still only available in PDF format.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Both made a significant impact in such a short time and successfully advanced their projects. It was a pleasure working with them, and we wish Kelley and Karma all the best for the future.
